- ANNIVERSARY CONCERT a Success! Here's a message from our band chairman:
"A truly tremendous concert last night and one that both John Harris and 'Ginge' Trussler would have been proud to attend. This did not just happen overnight but has been the reward of weeks of hard note bashing and attention to detail. I thank all members of the band for their hard work over these last few months taking in the different styles that The Malvern Chase Suite demanded. The suite by Stephen Roberts stretched all sections of the band and I can well understand how frustrating it can be to players when difficult passages require lots of extra time and practice before the 'comfort zone' is reached. I know that I speak for all of the committee when I say how proud we all are at the standard that was reached last night. Fine Arts Brass were just amazing, as we would all have expected, but so too were the band. We rose to the occasion and the audience were carried away with the whole experience of the professional quintet playing alongside us - we didn't just 'pull it off', we did it in style. Congratulations!"

I made a batch of CDs of our recent concert, mainly for fellow band-members. I have a few left over and would be willing to mail them to you if you'd be kind enough to send me a cheque for £2.00 to cover costs, including P&P.
Just click on the picture to send me an e-mail, and I'll reply with my postal address. Don't forget to send your postal address with your cheque! The amateur recording was made using a
Zoom H4 digital recorder.
I think the recording quality is remarkable.
